Martin , thanks for the compliment . The end refrigeration unit is a cast piece I made from many photos of the real thing sitting on a siding here in Orlando at the McDonalds cold storage , I used a roof walk for the platform and brass for the handrails and the steps and ladders . This was done over 10 yrs ago when these cars first came on the scene. There is a tank also under the platform .
Here is a picture of another cryo car for shipping french fries from Idaho , do not see Simplot anymore atleast here.I use a Weaver 57 ft mech. for comparison to the modern car , again the masters were from measurements on a car sitting on a siding.
These are resin cast sides , ends ,roof and floor . I am remaking a better master for the roof on the BNSF unit as the roof has less curvature . The BNSF was one of my first attempts at resin casting.

Thanks for showing the rest of us what can be done. The refrigeration unit looks especially tricky to make.
