It was another great day at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, VA. I've made a group of short video clips to show many of the types of trains in operation. I won't get them all up tonight, but look in during the week if interested. This first one has special meaning to forum members. It showcases the great upgrade work of Gunrunner John. He took my TCA K-Line Daylight which was a clunker to run and made it a Daylight Delight! Now with cruise control, 4 chuffs per revolution (up from the original 1/rev), fan smoke unit and super chuffer, it has become a pleasure to operate. I think it looks pretty good, too!  Since past TCA-Present Clem C. was in attendance today, we named this the "Past-President's Special."

A Marine Corps Museum staff member,  upon seeing the display, said how he had "an old set of Lionel Santa Fe's at home." We said "bring them in." He did, and with some lubrication as sweet a set of 2333's that one could want took to the rails!

(And, why I like to run on the innermost loop.....LOL)
