After my MTH RK 0-8-0 switcher took a dive off the table and landing on it's motor, (shell was off at the time) I found the motor mount was bent.   I ordered a new motor mount and to be on the safe side a new motor, from MTH.  The flywheel on the new motor is half as thick as the original motor and pre painted for a flywheel sensor.

Will the lighter weight of the thinner flywheel affect the performance of the switcher?  It has an ERR Cruise board in it.
