I know this is not a normal post but this morning the news and weather folks were saying we were going to get an amazing 20 inches of rain. Now they are saying we will get 50 inches of rain from the hurricane. Vicky and I are going to take as much of our trains upstairs as possible. I don't thing any house can take that much rain. We are moving garbage cans in the house to collect water even though we have a new roof. Give us a good thought. Don and Vicky

Prayers and best wishes for the safety of your family and your home.
Hoping all goes well Don. Spent time at Schofield Barracks a few years back, never made it to your island, don't think that housing could take 50" of rainfall.
Hoping for the best for you and Vicky and all the good folks in my favorite state.

Best wishes for minimal damage, safety and health to you and your family.
Hope you all do okay. You probably won't be able to respond again for some time. ( power outages, communication towers down etc) Prayers for all of you out there.
Just keep going . . . . you will persevere. We're thinking of you !
I was looking at the weather out there, I certainly hope you guys make it through without massive damage! It looks like it's going to be a wild one with all the wind and rain. I can't even imagine what 50 inches of rain would look like in the space of a couple days at most, but I'm sure it's going to be bad!
Hoping you fair well.
Good luck.
If you are sheltering in place fill your bathtubs with water now, so if you lose water service, you have plenty in the tubs.
Please stay safe over there. I can't imagine 50" of rain!
John

Don,
I just saw the weather report. We're praying for your safety.
