I am thinking of purchasing an Mth 20-8003A BNSF GS-4 Steam Loco. This is the premier Proto 2.0 dealer appreciation model. Anyone have it and can advise what they think of it and is it a worthwhile purchase?

That is a PS-2 5v Engine with the older obsolete 5V board. Prone to failure. So, Anticipate that it may require a new board upgrade and factor that cost it. G

Thanks for the heads up. Do you know what type of BCR I would need for this engine? Is it the regular that looks like a 9 volt battery or the BCR 2?

Regular one that looks like a 9v battery.

I wouldn't buy anything with PS2 5V unless you can get it cheap.
