After my trip to Strasburg, and riding a steam engine my kids and myself included havenow become interested in a steam engine for the layout.  I run now only Diesels.  I guess my question is does anybody have this engine?  I run 98% Long Island labeled trains I felt this would look good on my layout.  I prefer MTH cause I love my DCS.  Thanks for your help!

I have a few of the MTH Rail King 2-8-0 Consolidations. In my opinion, the Rail King 2-8-0 engines are the best values for the bucks in O-gauge railroading. They are fantastic runners.

The Long Island Rail Road used the H10 Class 2-8-0 as its principal freight engine. However, the Sunrise Special logo only appeared on G5s 4-6-0 No.21.

Looks like a real good engine.  Like i have said the only locomotives used on my layout are diesels.  My kids loved the experience. There are just so many Steam loco's.  The idea this is a "Long Island" road name is an added bonus.
