With Proto-2, is there a difference between the batteries that are encased in Blue Plastic vs the batteries encased in Green? I have been replacing them both with BCR's.
Blue are NiCad which is being phased out at some level in the battery industry. The Green are NiMh no Cadium. For what ever reason MTH 8.4V are all NiMh now, but on the 2.4V side plenty of NiCad still left. The older PS-2 3V kits use to come with green AA. Parts sent Blue. All the AAA I see are Green. G
