Was the MTH Milwaukee DL-109 DL-110 set ProtoSound or Proto2? Thanks!

Proto 1 .
It was cataloged again with Proto 2 but cancelled for lack of orders.
I don't think the MR owned a #110 B unit.

Wonder if it can be converted to Proto2 using the new "ABA" upgrade kit from MTH?
Supposed to be for a set with two powered A units .... would the slave for the A work in the B?
The slave doesn't care if it's in an A or B unit.
What you can also do is find a set of PS-2 anything DL's. Trade shells, Truck sideframes, and pilot. This Is what I did for my PRR Centipede.
Did MTH make any DLs with Proto2? I heard they cancelled that production before it happened ...
My Southern set is PS-2 (20-2436-1 & -3). I seem to recall Santa Fe version also maybe. Search the MTH website for any/all possibilities.

The problem is there is no Milwaukee Road PS-2 sound file since the only time it was cataloged in PS-2 it was cancelled. While another road name would work the stations may not be to the area you want lol!

MTH produced the SF 109/110 set in Proto 1, Proto 2 and soon, Proto 3 in the last catalog, 2012 volume 1

I have the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio DL-109/DL110 set, with cars, and it is Protosound 2.
The GM&O had no DL-110's (the B unit), but I couldn't resist. If I can come up with
a body shell (any road) and pilot casting, I'll turn my "110" into a "109".
For the historians: the GM&O had 3 "DL" Alcos, but two were actually DL-105's, as I
recall, and one was a DL-109. Internal specifications were the only differences, I believe.
The MTH locos don't quite match the GM&O units at the nose, but they were too relevant
and beautiful to pass up.
The Alco DL's were totally striking, far more so than the EMD E's. And had a cooler sound.
Kerrigan,
I'm close to putting my GM&O DL109/DL110 set with PS2 up for sale. Both units are powered and in excellent condition.
If you're interested, send me an E-mail using the address in my profile anne perhaps we can make a deal happen.
Thanks!
