I've had this happen to me with regular e-mail from other websites.  Here's what happens.

Your ISP unexpectedly (I don't know why or how this happens) bounces a few e-mails back to the sender saying your e-mail address is invalid.  Since they don't want to waste resources, they put your e-mail address into a list of "bad" addresses so that you never hear from them again.  This happened to me while I was on a ten day vacation, and I lost contact with several regular senders.

I tried to re-sign up using the original e-mail address, but that didn't work because the "bad address" list would still block my address, and I wasn't going to track down the person who could edit the "bad address" list.  So, I re-signed up using a new gmail address, and things are now back to normal.

Of course one way to 'solve' this problem among OGR forumites would be to have someone post the email on this forum....to the benefit of all....including those who suffer cyberitis at the hands (and whim) of the mystical gods of ISP.

These sorts of frustrations....and a mailbox that overfloweth with enough crapola to plug the bathtub drain thrice daily...are why I've given up on a lot of these subscription emails.

But, hey....it's all part of the new normal, I'm told.

The Broadway Limited was the premier train of the premier railroad in America. In an era before air travel was common, the Pennsylvania Railroad's Broadway — along with its rival, the New York Central's Twentieth Century Limited — were the way to travel between New York and Chicago in style. At the end of a long day at work, you could board the train, have a gourmet dinner in the diner while the porter made up your bed, be rocked to sleep by the gentle motion of your sleeping car, wake up to a fine breakfast, and arrive at your destination in time for a morning meeting.

Imagine you're a CEO or movie star taking in the view from the rear platform of the observation car, as the locomotive's whistle echoes off the Appalachian mountainsides. Our recreation of the Pennsy's finest name train features realistic whistle, bell, and steam chuff sounds, huge plumes of puffing smoke, and station announcements for the Broadway Limited. For even more fun, add extra lighted passenger cars, each with interior detail — this heavy, die-cast steam locomotive has plenty of power to get them over the mountains.

In a world where much childhood play takes place on a two-dimensional screen, model railroading offers a form of play that is both old-fashioned and timeless. For more than a hundred years, children have been using toy trains — along with construction sets, toy figures, empty boxes, and anything else at hand — to build their own imaginary worlds.

While all of this can be accomplished today on a computer screen, there's still enormous value in building something with your hands, making it operate, and sharing it with your friends. Childhood development experts call it "unstructured, imaginative, free play" and they say it helps kids grow mentally and socially. We just think it's fun, and having fun has to be a good thing.

Create a miniature world for your railroad to serve with our wide variety of lighted RailTown™ buildings, operating accessories and O scale passengers and workers.

M.T.H. offers a variety of O scale buildings that will help you create whatever kind of model railroad world you desire; rural or urban, nostalgic or modern.

Fully assembled and ready-to-use, M.T.H. accessories will transform your layout into a world of action in just minutes.

  • Fully Assembled
  • Fully Painted
  • Lighted Interior
  • Intricately Detailed ABS Construction
  • Unit Measures: 14 1/2 x 12 x 7 1/2

FWIW, I got mine fixed, finally! Had a similar problem to yours, only with Time Warner. They were flagging the MTH emails on their server and the emails were never making it to my inbox, junk mail or spam folder on my computer.

Had to go to their online email (which I never use) and found some emails from MTH in the Junk folder there. I had to mark everything from MTH as 'Not Junk', move to Inbox and so far it has been working since and I am getting the MTh emails again.

Someone in another thread had emailed Andy Edelman and information about this was in his reply. After reading that I figured out how to get into my online mail (or whatever they call that?) and that's where I found the problem. It was quite odd too, because almost everything else that they think is junk is sent to my 'junk mail' folder in my computer email program? Not sure what happened, but I think it's fixed for the time being anyway.

Uncataloged RailKing Cancer Awareness Locomotive Set Arriving Soon

November 4, 2015 - It's not too late to order the M.T.H. Electric Trains RailKing O Gauge specially decorated, limited production Diesel and matching Steel Caboose in Cancer Awareness pink decor.

Slated for delivery in mid-November, this unique set includes all the features you expect from an M.T.H. release including Proto-Sound 3.0, operating diesel exhaust smoke, Proto-Couplers, Proto-Speed Control and operating chase lights running along the base of the locomotive's body. The matching caboose includes die-cast metal couplers, lighted interior and a hand painted brakeman figure inside the cupola.

M.T.H. Electric Trains has long supported various charities throughout our 35 year history and from time-to-time we've released limited production runs of special locomotives and rolling stock to raise funds for those organizations. Our 911 locomotive and cars brought much needed assistance to the first responders' families after the tragic loss of life of their loved ones following the terrorist attacks. And, our Hurricane Katrina compilation helped the Red Cross manage the incredible devastation wreaked on the New Orleans area following the storm's landfall.

The RailKing ES44 locomotive is a near-scale model measuring a full 17" in length, yet operates comfortably on O-31 curves. Under the hood is the very same Proto-Sound 3.0 sound and control package found in our more expensive Premier model of this locomotive, with sounds recorded from the actual prototype. Additional Imperial features include operating diesel exhaust smoke, flashing ditch lights and colorful charging lights running the length of the body. Controlled by the Proto-Sound 3.0 microprocessor, the lights automatically reverse direction upon a direction change. Their mesmerizing effect is quite impressive when running in a darkened room and is sure to excite all who see it run.

Item No. 30-20323-1 Cancer Awareness ES44AC Imperial Diesel & Caboose Set With Proto-Sound 3.0
MSRP: $399.95

In 2015, we continue our history of helping with the release of our Cancer Awareness ES44 Diesel Set. With each set's sale, M.T.H. will donate a portion of the proceeds from the set to the Breast Cancer Research Fund (www.bcrfcure.org) with an ultimate goal of raising $10,000.00. The Breast Cancer Research Fund - a charity close to the heart of M.T.H. Electric Trains President Mike Wolf – maintains an A+ charity rating and is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the United States.

Don't miss out on this chance to own a limited release from M.T.H. Electric Trains AND help fight cancer. Set's can be ordered directly from M.T.H. Electric Trains for $399.95 (plus freight) by contacting our Sales Department at 410-381-2580. M.T.H. Railroader Club (MTHRRC) Members can order the sets for $349.95.

I had missed the last two weeks...  Found them today when I logged into Comcast web mail and they were in the spam folder for some reason...  Used to get them all previously without any interference from Comcast... Comcast must have modified their spam rules...  For those of you on Comcast check the webmail and see if your MTH stuff is in the spam folder...
