Hi Guys.  Got a new old stock MTH Diesel with the 5.0v Board.  Runs fine in DCS, all functions flawless.  Inserted a new Green 50-1008 battery, fully charged, and when I layed the engine on it's side with the body off/boards gently on their side, the engine starts up in conventional mode with NO TRACK POWER.  Any ideas how this is happening and what wires/shorts to look for?  I moved some wires around from the battery to the boards, and pressed a few connections.  Now the engine does not start up by itself.  So weird....never seen this before in decades.  Help?

Also, I tested the voltage on the new, charged up green MTH battery and it shows 10v, not 8.4.

a Battery can show more voltage then you expect but if you put the battery under load more then likely it will read very close to 8.4 or 9.0   and under load will it will drop to 8.4 very quickly that slow down under load. even your 12 volt car battery can read 13. volt or more if fully charged but will come down quickly to its normal 12 volts or so that's normal !
