Mth engine with proto smoke

I have a mth steam engine the CP royal Hudson and the smoke output is strange. When I first start it up it smokes ok but not to extreme ( smoke set on high) Then as it runs the smoke gets more but not like my older mth engine smokers. They will smoke you out of the room on high and this engine only does that if you hold the boost button down and it smokes real good. Is there a fix for this.

An MTH product number and a photo or two would be a big help. Take a shot of the smoke when it's doing the best it can so the MTH techs have something to evaluate and compare.
