MTH GS-4 steamer, can another 4-8-4 body be used on the chassis?

I'm looking into another project, never enough of those here, and was wondering if the oem GS-4 steamer body can be swapped out for another 4-8-4 MTH body{if there are any in non scale}.

Anyone do a swap like this to theirs?
