MTH Infrared ITAD vs Lionel 153IR

I use the Lionel itad's with MTH target signals and the MTH gate man shed. Works fine. The MTH itad's seem to be sensitive with bright lights. The Lionel itad's seem to work better. I have not had any issues with them. Easy to connect with the option of connecting to track power or a seperate transformer.

The 153IR is far better than the MTH.  Every time you turn your Lights on in your Train Room, the MTH Units activate. They are TOO sensitive. NOT so with the Lionel 153IR's

 

 

I second the recommendation for the Lionel 153IR, they seem bulletproof for me.
