Just wondering how many here have the 208 tool box and how and where you display it?

well, it is a box, and it does hold tools, but to me it doesn't really look much like a toolbox. the other problem is what to do with a hand shovel that is over 7 feet long even in ~Standard Gauge scale.

At seven scale feet, it's too short for the gate man
I keep it in a gondola car with some barrels. The car is part of a work train.

huh... never thought about it before, but am i missing 3 tools from my original set, or did MTH/ Lionel expand the contents? my kit only contains a rake, hoe, pickax, shovel, sledge hammer and hatchet/ axe...

Back in the day Lionel or kids didn't pay much attention to scale proportions. I think the tool box and tools just added some play value so kids could pretend they were working on something trackside. I have mine in a gondola as part of a work train.
