MTH NASA SW1500 Switcher

Yeah that's a good one.  Always exciting to aquire an item that you've been searching for.  The freight is cool too.  Enjoy it.

Nice!  I always liked that scheme for NASA.  I got a MTH #1, in the black, red and gray from a fellow forumite.  I'm a conventional/TMCC guy so the Loco Sounds fit right in.

Over a two-year time span, I collected NASA-theme freight cars with the hope of "someday" finding and purchasing a MTH SW 1500 NASA diesel #1 in red-grey-black decor for placement on point.  During casual wandering on eBay one evening, I saw one for sale and bought it immediately.  I already had the MTH NASA red caboose, plus 10 various NASA-decor freight cars, most of them by MTH.  I also prowled the Web to find the long flat cars by K-Line with ROCKET BODIES on board -- labeled as "United" and "States."  Ultra cool!
