MTH Operating Gas Station - Volume | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have an MTH Operating Gas Station, and notice the volume is very loud.

I cannot find any 'pot' or any note in the operating instructions or parts list for adjusting volume.

It's not too bad with a couple trains running, but I was wondering if there is a way to add a 'pot' or potentiometer in order to control volume? Would it just be added to one of the speaker leads?
