Is there any place where one can see a breakdown of various MTH Premier caboose parts. I'm wanting to put an interior into an MTH Premier caboose that is manufactured totally empty except for two light bulbs. I was surprised when I got it. Definitely overpaid. It even has a hole on the bottom for what would probably be the smoke switch.

The MTH site doesn't seem to have any parts breakdowns for any caboose I looked for.

Input the MTH part number or if it is unknown to you, input Premier Caboose.

Thanks. I've been there but you encouraged me to try harde. I did fine some end cupola caboose parts lists, but the extended ones are not broken down into parts lists yet. If I knew the parts #s for extended vision cabooses, I would buy the guts for one and update this "Premier" one I have.

thanks again.

Chuck Sartor, here on the site is great at finding parts. Also you can contact MTH .
email midge@mth-railking.com
let her know the model you have and a description of what you are looking for. You might need a bit of patience.January is a busy month and midge is a real person, not a department.

Another option is start a topic "i want to put an interior in a caboose". I am sure you will get ideas on how others have done so.

Another idea is (while im a big MTH fan), Lionel does give parts breakdowns. You might find appropriate detail parts, that you can fit inside IF they made any cabooses with interiors

Lionel does have them and they look like they might fit well with a mostly centered cupola. Just though since it's an MTH, their interior would be perfect.

I've been looking at the MTH web site for 7 years and it's probably the most unsupported web site I've ever encountered. I finally was able to order a few smoke motors totally on the site and they came in a short time. So better than last year.

I don't see how anyone who likes to do their own repair or mods could stick with MTH. Midge must be the most overworked employee in toy traindom.

Lionel is light years ahead of MTH in the service and parts area. My experience of course.
