The 2016 Volume 1 catalog shows them being green on the Erie E-8 unit on the front cover but the Southern E-8 inside the catalog shows them being red? If anyone has both A units let me know what they are.
My other question is that do both Southern E-8 A units have the Streamliners at Spencer announcements?

green means there is a following section example they run trains number 221 the first one has green last one no class lights, if you run a train with just engines the red class light show the rear of the train(engines) if a train is running extra white class light are used

Would you know if cab number 6909 has green or red classification lights and a regular PSA sound file rather than the Streamliners At Spencer event announcements?
CHAS, as you can see from photos the class lights are green. As to the PFA sounds do not recall, don't normally use. But normal practice on any new engine is to check everything out but again can't recall. If I remember will pull engine out next week and check.

chas the 6900 had green red and white but most of time they were not used the light turned on was white and a crew menber could flip them to green or red southerns e8 where numbered 6900 to 6916
