I attached a YouTube vid showing the issue.
Smoke comes out of the smoke stack well but also comes out the bottom of the engine.
Does anyone know a remedy?

I didn't watch the video, but this likely means you either have a poor fitup where the smoke unit mates to the stack on the inside of the boiler/shell, or there is a leak around the gasket where the board mounts to the top of the smoke unit casting.

Thanks rod. I'll check both.
There should be a gasket between the element chamber and the fan chamber. It gets sandwiched between the two when they are attached to the circuit board. There might be a leak there as well.
I've seen people put them together and lose that gasket between the two chambers.
