I finally had a use for my long packed away Z-500 MTH power unit. This came with my B&O Dockside set, which was offered quite away back. I am running a Williams Blue Goose set with it. I was surprised to find out that the horn and whistle button is inoperative and the whistle is activated by using the bell button. Then I recalled that the Dockside set used a whistle caboose and had no bell. Would I be right in assuming the Z-500 was set up specifically for that set or should I consider that the unit is not working properly.
