They are trying to decide between the Legacy F3's and the Sharknose. I don't have either now so they would both be good for me! I heard their debate was almost heated!

Looking in the catalog I do not see anything operational/mechanical different between the two.

Any reason to get one over the other?

Thanks.

IMO every O-gauge enthusiast needs a set of F units, if only for heritage sake. My first train was an A-B-A Santa Fe consist in 1953 (or 54).

I no longer have them, my mother gave them away when I went to college. Ironically, I still don't have any O-gauge F units. That needs to be rectified soon.

But I do have a G-gauge USA chrome limited edition Santa Fe Warbonnet A-B in a show case over my fireplace.

Congrats Jeff!

Either way you will be happy!

My apologies, I should have been clearer in the original post. I'm lucky to have a few F3's in the stable already (GN, SF, ACL, B&O), these would be the first Legacy units.

I already called Nassau and a shiny pair of Burlington's are headed my way!!

Now to find out what passenger cars would be correct. Sorry, but I see F3's and always think passenger!!

Thanks for all the comments!!!
