Hi, and thank you in advance. I have had this train for about 1 year.

I have double checked the switches on the bottom. I have made sure that the Lionchief app has also enabled the blower. I can hear the blower... but nothing comes out.

I can hear the fan blower running, but smoke does not come out from the whistle or the smoke stack. I am afraid that I may have saturated the system with one drop too many of liquid smoke.  Any ideas? Thank you.  Jon

If you’re not seeing any hints of smoke, and you’re sure the switch is on, and nothing in the app or remote is off, then it’s time for an inspection. Cooked smoked units are all the rage these days, ….seems no legacy Locomotive is immune from it. If it’s cooked, and as long as there’s no horrible damage to the plastic bowl, lid, etc, then the unit is very rebuildable. I would double check all the features are on, and verify switches, etc, before condemning the smoke unit. Also, if you feel like you’ve flooded the unit, blow down in the stack with your mouth, and let the locomotive sit for a bit before firing it up & testing smoke.

Thank you very much, Pat! I appreciate your expertise. I am not looking forward to shipping the locomotive to Lionel and I'm hoping the issue will resolve on its own. I presume that the only way to fix the issue is to send it to Lionel. Am I correct? Thanks again. Jon

Lionel only warranties it for one year, ….so if you’re over a year, warranty is up,….
