I like that truck, too....I have kitbashed a few available trucks, such as Matchbox, to

be coal carriers...but that one is interesting and different.

Awesome looks great

picked up 3 of these coal trucks many years ago from the ebay place.  seems to be a white cab married to an old tootsietoy dump body, then plastic dividers and a piece of girder for the chute.  just have to make windshields and add drivers

Bob Anson - Those coal trucks were made by Max Schwanda and used on his PRSL layout. When he passed his family sold everything including his house.

Nice! I used to love watching those trucks unload. I was amazed by the scissor lift mechanism to reach the higher properties. Those were the days. There are still some of that type coal truck here in Northeast PA.
