Hi Rick R, Landscaping and terrain are, certainly, skills of yours, as is planning, apparently. You have given us a taste of a project that is going to be exciting to see as you continue to flesh-out the details and enrichments. Rick I love your layout and look forward to seeing more.  You've done a fantastic job with the scenery and thanks for not distracting from it by blowing the horn.  The sound of steel wheels on steel track helped make the video great.

Judging from your video you are a prime candidate for membership into the Brotherhood (of the Crappy Basement Layout).   The crappy refers to the basement, not the layout!

I didn't notice the basement:  I was watching the railroad.    We have almost no real basements in the Texas Panhandle.  Thanks for posting your progress, and please continue to post new views as the layout continues to develop.

I wish I had a crappy basement. Down here we are so close to sea level, a basement would be referred to as an indoor swimming pool.

i will have to tack another shot at trying to get more of layout thx everyone for the good replies. I have alot more to do and scenic where i had to repair.

Where are them there trains going when the exit to the left?   What brand of cows are you using??  Cool layout at any rate!!!   Two barns?   woo hoo.

ertl cows from amazon. my basement is cut in half by brick wall,so i nocked out a block in each end of it. so trains go around the perimeter of basement. Behind furnace under stairs behind washer and dryer.

Here is my whole layout in 3 short vids lots of work to do.

Going through the walls into the laundry room really gives you some wide sweeping turns.
