I have an Atlas passenger station that I painted a long time ago.  Its in my small town area as opposed to a very rural setting.  I am considering a repaint in more accurate PRR color scheme.  I looked on the web and the forum for ideas and historical perspective, but the color images vary quite a bit, especially when considering the lighting.  I suppose that there were several color combos depending on area of the country where PRR had rural stations.  Any advice for the base color for the top portion and color for the bottom portion and trim.  Thanks.

Edit  1: I found a photo of a station that had medium to dark brown trim and I guess I would describe the upper portion as cream colored.  I am looking for the name of colors that come close and a brand or number would help.

Edit 2:  Ahhh.  I found a neat photo and the color is a green not unlike the green I painted one of my feed/seed buildings.

Rather than delete this post, I will update repaint progress as it evolves.

april1 station repaint

Then keep it dark green, or you might paint the upper part lighter green: many such stations were painted in two-tone.  That would look good.

I recall seeing a thread where someone added lights around the roof overhang to make this type of station light up.  That would be another nice option although a lot of work, and definately a case where you really want to use LEDs just because they run cool.
