Anybody know how to remove the speaker housing from a GP9 Lionchief plus diesel? I don't see any screws on the bottom of the chassis??

You have to remove the shell (2 screws at the front, 2 at the rear)
to get to the screws inside that pull the fuel tank speaker assembly up to the bottom of the stamped chassis.
I removed the shell and it appears that there are two screws under the PCB but how does one get to those screws??
So, there are 2 screws (#20) and 2 spacers (#26) holding the Lionchief Plus PCB to the chassis. They are tiny Phillips head screws.
That's how you get to those screws holding the speaker and fake fuel tank.
thanks found them!
I just happened to check a chassis and it's 3 screws holding the fuel tank and speaker. So yes, you have to move the board to get to that front one. The board is held with 2 screws to standoff post insulators.

Location of the 2 board mounting screws- sorry in advanced, this was zoomed in and looks terrible but it's the best I have from Lionel at the moment.
