Both of those engines should have magnetraction, not tires. The 218 looks correct, cannot tell on the 205.
As C.W.BURFLE stated, the 205 and 218 should have magne-traction. The 222 alco and similar had 222-108 traction tires available from your favorite parts supplier. It wouldn't be unheard of for the alco shell and frames be swapped. If your wheels have a groove, try a 222-108.
Yes, the shells must have been swapped. There is a groove with a tire on one of the drive wheels. The tire is coming apart. Thanks for the part number.
