For an around the Christmas tree display this year, I'm doing two loops with the inner loop elevated using LIONEL PW #111 elevated trestles.  A feature of the inner loop will be a 30" long X 5" wide Plastruct Truss Bridge (shown below from Plastruct's website).  I'd like to use bridge piers instead of the LIONEL trestles to support the bridge--this is especially so since I've had Keil Line bridge shoes in my parts box for 10+ years without having had the occasion to use them.

The LIONEL trestles are 4 3/4" tall so it may be, likely will be, necessary to shim either the trestles or the piers.  Depending on the piers, I think I can handle that.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.  I've checked eBay to see what products are generally available, so any experience you have and share will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Carl;

I’m not familiar with the bridge, but I have something in my “dustbin of history” which may be of use for you. The bridge has never been assembled (once again, bought many years ago, but didn’t fit when I finally built a layout). The bridge is 24” long by 5” wide. The piers are 4 3/4” tall (and I might have two additional piers I purchased much later not knowing there were two in the bridge box). If your interested, I’d be happy send it to you so it will finally see some use.
