I got a really cool Kramer Products man in a boat that uses 120volt AC ... I like to find a relay I can activate it with my 12 volt trigger. I use diodes if Its 12dc .. I just need to know if anyone knows a part number or has or had one ever .. (not sure if they make them!) thanks ...daniel

As long as the coil is 12vdc switching 120vac is no big deal. If I was doing a search I’d start with Potter Brumfield or Idec.
Amazon search "12v dc relay module". Plenty to chose from. Less expensive on eBay.
Thanks guys thats what I thought but after reading theirs a concern a 12volt 4 pin 12volt relay wont handle the load for long before it fails .. I put a call in a company that sales electronics and waiting to see if they have anything.. so far I have not been able to find any relay's that does both one side 120volt and the trigger 12 volt
The 12vdc is the coil in the relay. The 120vac would be on the contacts in the relay. Completely separate. One has no bearing on the other. Unless you’re cycling the relay once a second for hours at a time there is little chance of failure. Just make sure the contacts will handle the load.
Relays seem to be kryptonite on the forum. Just think of them as a remote control light switch.
Short update ... I called Square D electrical help line I was told this relay will do the job so I ordered it ..
Relay part number 8501KPDR12V51 it has a 12Vdc coil once activated will handle the 120volt ac load
you need to order the base socket for that relay using part# 8501N51

OK - I see you already ordered.
I was looking into the animation when you posted your solution; but since I found some info, I'll just post what I found for the next guy.
I was going to suggest replacing the 120V AC Synchron motor used in the animation with a 12V DC gearmotor. That way you would not have to deal with 120V AC wiring.
You can see a brief GIF animation of the fisherman here. I found this photo where you can see the Synchron gearmotor under the boat.

Since apparently you already have 12V DC, you wouldn't need a relay to switch the 120V AC and instead just directly drive the 12V DC motor.
Finally, even if using the AC Synchron motor, I was imagining a 12V DC relay module with cycle-timing capability to cycle the animation on for a minute, off for a minute, etc.. No fisherman is THAT lucky!
Otherwise, for a generic 12V DC relay with socket, try eBay for about $5 (free shipping from US), or maybe 1/2 that if willing to wait a few weeks for shipping from Asia.

For those concerned about dealing with the 120 VAC portions of a relay solution, i.e. contacts possibly open and/or accessible, need for an enclosure, proper grounding of the power feed, etc., there is another possibility:

With this device the 120 VAC side is handled for you. First you plug it into a wall or powerstrip outlet (via a line cord that is present but not shown here). Then you simply need to apply the low-voltage switching signal (min 12, max 48 VAC) to the green two-position terminal strip seen in the near portion of the photo to activate the outlets.
Not quite as inexpensive at $26.95 but the safety-related details of working with 120 VAC are handled for you.

But wait, there's more!
The remote might even use a 12V battery! Since 12V DC is frequently available in layout control-panels, it could be wired into the battery holder to eliminate replacing 12V battery. Though I can't remember the last time I changed the 12V battery in this remote - at least 5 years - and I use this remote several times a day rain or shine!

Thanks guys for all your ideas and suggestions! on my layout I have two 153ir 's I use them to trigger a automotive relay using a rectifier to convert the ac from my transformer to DC .. then the relays take the load to operated my accessories..
I bought a nos k line 42402 fisherman on a trestle and the boat fisherman made by kramer products back in the day.
Ill tap off one of the 153ir circuits I'm using now for the k line fisherman
and use the square deal for the 120V using the other 153ir and a rectifier to make the 12dc I need to trigger it..
at the end of this project if it goes well the guy sitting on the trestle will look like he caught one and stop after the train passes.. and by the time the next train comes by the kramer fisherman will look like he got one and stop till the train comes by again..
good news I paid less than 15.00 on the bay for the relay ..
I did try to find a 12v dc motor but the gear box was a different config and I did not want to modify what seems to be a good design..
