I have a 5 year old Polar Express steam loco.  Needs the plastic bushings for the front wheels?

Also a 1980's diesel that has a bad coupler.

Old Coal car that has a bad magnet to flip the car.

Cleaning pads for the cleaner car?

Any suggestions on where I should start.  I think the last time I ordered parts it was Stan Orr. And that was post war stuff I had to work on

Lionel model numbers would help a lot...

Go to Lionel.com and click on services and then replacement parts. You should be able using search get a page that shows all the parts and their number. It'll make it much easier to find what you need. It is what I did recently to get a part for the re issue rocket launcher; it actually led to em to S&W parts (Google them) and I found with their help a post war part that worked as Lionel was no longer making that replacement part. You know: the one most likely to break and is not cosmetic!

Lionel, remote or conventional, I believe the pilot truck axle bearings are the same. They push and lock in. Usually the top breaks.

Here, item #5

Maybe Lionel - need engine number, Lionel item number, definitely a parts guy have to dig through the supplements to find it.

I would be willing to say that brasseur trains would have all but the axle bearings. But , Lionel charges a flat $10 for shipping, so best to try to get a good order together.

I have axle bearings for the Polar Express locomotive. In the most part, if a coupler in a 1980 diesel is bad, it is probably plastic. Like stated, engine number is must. I most likely have it. The coal dump car, rarely do those solenoid coils go bad, unless one of the leads have been broken by tampering. Possibly another cause? Have the coil if needed. Have track cleaning car sponges in stock.

I have looked on the locos and cars for numbers.  Where do I determine what the Lionel number is?
