That is so cool. Did you build it or grab it at a meet?
super job!
That's a really nifty steeple cab. "Chambersburg, Greencastle and Waynesboro Street Railway" ?
Who ever told you that you have good taste,
is right, and should be listened to more closely
That looks great and very unique.
Thanks all.
This is actually a built up brass kit that was produced years ago by John Derr. The kit was just for the superstructure and some other parts, but a frame was pretty much own your own. I picked this one up a few years ago from an estate. It had been painted and about 95% stripped back to the brass. I finished that off, cleaned it and then repainted it inside and outside, and glazed the windows. Lettering is Clover House dry transfers. The drive is an insulated Wagner drive that it came with and I added wipers to get this to have 8 wheel pick up all linked back to the headlights. Tight working space as this little engine is only about 7" and the way the frame was made with the interior platform there's no much space to spare inside with that Wagner drive truck.
I also have what appears to be a complete kit for another one of these....really nice brass castings for the body. Have to decide whether to build a 2nd one, sell it off, or let it age a bit more......

Marty; it looks absolutely great!!!
Not every layout has one of those! To get the different and interesting, you really have to scrounge for the old and obscure. I bet the guy in Hawaii who models an electric line and is now involved with the Lahaina, Kaanopoli, and Pacific would like the other you have....
