New Camelbacks not responding to Blue Tooth

There is a switch to turn the Bluetooth on/off, underneath the loc.  Make sure Bluetooth is set to on.  What android phone were you using?  I have an old Samsung Galaxy s7 which can connect fine to my engines.  I believe Lionel is using Bluetooth 4 in their locs.  New stuff is now starting to use version 5.

Yes check the Bluetooth switch on the bottom. My Camelback works flawless on Bluetooth and I am using a 4+ year old LG G series phone. Also if you were running conventional prior make sure you have the track voltage up to the required 18 volts.

Low quality?  That's a total crock!  The only "low quality" here is the application.

Sadly, it doesn't work on many older Android phones, even if they're not "low quality".  I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that works fine with the MTH WiFi application, but won't work with the current version of the Lionel application.  I attribute this to the Lionel Apple-centric mindset where Android devices are a second thought, if that.  The Android LC+ application does work on my Samsung Galaxy S21, but I really need it to work on my older phone as that's the one I want to use as an extra remote.  Both phones are updated to the 2.6.30 current version of the LC+ application.

Give the lack of operation on older phones the malarkey that you can use an old $50 phone as an extra remote is just that, malarkey!

I double checked the voltage setting and tried it with the blue tooth switch in both the on and off position with no success. Thanks for the feedback - I will let you know how things come out.

By the way, it works fine with my Cab-2.
