Good afternoon. The circuit board inside my Lionel Tire Swing (CS-6-24168) died. According to the Lionel Web-site the board is unavailable. Does anyone know where I can find another Lionel Circuit Board or another board that I can install in its place?

I have this tire swing in a small park that I have created on my layout. If I can't find another circuit board for this animated accessory, can anyone recommend another animated tire swing.
Searching lionel parts based on the item number
6-24168
It's 4 diodes, basically a bridge rectifier, 3 resistors, a typical TO220 LM317 regulator, and supporting filter caps.
Not exactly a lot to go wrong for driving a tiny DC motor and these are commodity components easily found and or substituted.
However, more searching at Lionel and this part likely would work since it's just a voltage regulator.

Again, knowing the motor that most of these accessories are using, they are roughly 3V motors and that's all this board is doing- taking a variable unknown AC voltage, rectifying it to DC, and then producing a fixed low voltage DC around 3V for the motor.
This could easily be repaired or substituted using off the shelf commodity voltage regulator modules and a bridge rectifier.
If that's too high tech- a 2 cell battery holder.

Thanks. I will order the Lionel part
I just drop one of these that I make in, it's a switching power supply that runs from AC or DC and can be configured for any voltage output.
