I just recived the new sound reefers (6-81142) and it came without a manual. it did not come with a legacy program chip and I don't see the sensor on the bottom for use with the new track sensor. help!

The sensor is on the sound car picture of it ..I took a picture of the manual on how to program them.

thank you for your reply, the sensor I am referring to is the LCS IR sensor for the LCS track sensor. the one by the wheels is for motion if that is the one in your picture.

Call Lionel and tell them to send you a manual, or check the site to see if they have one posted. You could download it.
I'm sure they'll take care of you.
I'm waiting on mine to get here, I can't wait. You guys are killing me with all the teasers, I've been waiting on these since they were announced. And, through all the delays I'd say, maybe soon. Now they're here!
There is no LCS sensor on those cars.
