Today Dave introduced a new Camera app via their YouTube channel.

Can't find it searching with Lionel Wireless Camera in the Android Play Store.
I get other Lionel stuff, but not the Lionel WiFu camera. When I scroll down pages and pages, no Lionel camera.

It’s quite possible that the android store hasn’t posted it yet. Lionel has no control of that.
It is available in the Apple store, and I just had to do an update.
Use the link in the description of the YouTube video.

Thanks, Dave, I did that and loaded it, I guess it's just not indexed yet.
Is there any way to have the video come up on my computer? I want to put a larger monitor up for the camera view.
Yes, type the camera's IP address into a web browser. Obviously the computer and camera need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Well, that's easy! If I connect it to my router, that part is already done.
Thank you @Dave Olson. Works great

Neat layout you've got there, Joe! The rockwork is excellent.
I love the idea of sharing layouts via Youtube...we could make some fun layout videos, tell stories with our layouts, even do layout operations, too, from one layout to another. For example, one person has a beer factory on their layout; his or her video would show the train departing the factory and heading out on the mainline; another person takes the consist further on his/her layout to a division point and yard, and so on.
Any new wifi camera products in our future?
Thank You for your efforts Dave.
I had a better picture with the old version of the app. I've toyed with this all evening and this app has a lot of lag, sometimes it's clear and other times washed out. I've loaded and re-loaded the app with no difference.
I'm running the latest version of IOS. Track and wheels are clean. My Wifi signal is strong. I only have the Caboose Cam (Santa Fe).
Pleased to see I can now take shots and record!
Dave
Finally! I didn't think you guys were ever going to fix it. But fix it you did and MAN IS IT GREAT! Congratulations on a job well done. SO much better than the old one. Thanks Dave!
Nice upgrade, Dave. Thx.
Hi Dave. I was able to join my Milwaukee Rd cupla cam caboose to my home network following your directions and rename the caboose but my Lionel Wireless Camera app, which I have had for a couple of years looks and is laid out different from what you are demonstraing. I'm using it on an iPhone. Maybe it's an older version but when I go to the app store and find it, all it says is "open." So do I have the latest version or do I need to update it some how? Other than that it connected to my home network after rebooting the caboose and it renamed just fine.

That's the way to give a layout tour! Very nice!
Ok it just came in as an update, but I was able to do it all with the old app.

When I first went it said open and still showed the original build...the next time I checked it said Update and said it was a recent build. Maybe restart your phone and clear out the cache.
Are you able to do a split screen with multiple camera cars on at the same time?

That would be a incredible upgrade as many of us have multiple cars that have cameras. I don't think its supported currently but that is a @DaveOlson question.

So wait... When the app died, we could have just done this? No app required? Or is the app the only way to get the camera on the network?
Thanks for the heads up. Just downloaded from the play store
