If only they originally designed the power car with twin motors so they wouldn't need to make a 3-car set out of cars that only exist in married pairs in the real world 
And for that matter, after recording actual Metro North automated announcements and door open/close sounds, you'd think they'd get the M7 horn and accelerating/braking sounds too 
If it weren't for the resulting "orphan car", I'd buy a set and slave my original M7 power car's motor to the LionChief board* so I could have a twin-motor train with power at both ends.

That Metro North M-7 is really cool!!! It's such a shame that it is a 3 car train set and that it is a Lionel item, like I said I only model MTH.
