As most of you who read my posts know, my collection is made up of primarily Railking pieces, with only a very small handful of Lionel and MTH Premier pieces. I'm not one to talk about how great a piece of rolling stock is, but I wanted to share this car I just picked up from Engine House Hobbies. It is a Railking car, but has significant detail with real chains, separate markings, etc.The sides of the containers also have LIRR logos and markings. When I get a moment, I'm going to look at flipping the containers around so the markings face outside. Nice car.
I buy all my engines in "local" roads - B&O, C&O, WM, PRR. Seeing I spend at least part of every summer in the Hamptons on Long Island, I found Dashing Dan to be an appropriate fit.
I've found the most recent Railking rolling stock to hold a significantly higher amount of separately applied detail than pieces of just a few years ago.
