Hello everyone! I unboxed my new legacy pacemaker today and I ran into a problem I hope will be an easy fix. Ok so I made a layout using the CW-80 power supply and fired up my universal Bluetooth remote and it started up great. So the engine doesn’t want to go forward. It try’s and stops and blows the whistle so it’s try’s again and failed so I used my iPhone and tried it that way same thing. But the odd part is the engine goes in reverse just fine. So I tried the CW80 and it goes forward and backwards just fine. So I’m confused here? Any suggestions?

Yes that’s about exactly what it’s doing!
It could just be an issue running if via Bluetooth. Might be fine under legacy control. But if you don't have legacy then your stuck. Call Lionel or return it. I personally hate sending stuff to them to repair, usually comes back damaged somehow.

I just email them about it. Here’s the thing my other legacy steam Loco runs just fine on Bluetooth I haven’t had any problems with that one.

Yea, its Lionel, they dont have quality control. Older Bluetooth locomotive may be fine. They might just need to reprogram your new engine. Obviously its not just you having problems, just like the YouTube video
