Being a rookie in this hobby is something else. So much stuff can go wrong. I put down 28 pieces of new track not thinking to inspect the track. You old guys know what happened, dead short. 
After half an hour to 45', I had checked all four drops buss wires etc. nothing wrong. 
Check track I guess, continuity check center/outer rail confirmed short. 
Got lucky, checking sections one by one dead short in fourth section tested. Replaced section all good.
