no ps2 kits at MTH

John, go on to the MTH website.  Look up the pn (50-1902).  Then use the "find it" function.  There are three dealers that "claim" they have it in stock.  Good luck!

If the PS2 upgrade kits are now out of stock at MTH, that could be a sign that the road is clearer for the release of the pricier PS3 upgrade kits.

Nope, MTH Sales has been told to continue to take PS-2 upgrade orders.  They are waiting on a shipment of PS-2 boards and some harness for the kits.  I got lucky and think I got 3 of the last kits this round.  I was told they were out, and the next day I had 3 at the door.  Came in handy as the demand for upgrades and some repairs peaked for me about a week ago

I do have one of the new PS-3/2 5V conversion board also.  Haven't decided what to do with it yet.   G

What is going to be the holdup for the PS3 kits, I'd bet, is updating the instructions for the new kit installation.

Any word on timing for the S-gauge upgrade kit?

So who is doing that, hopefully not the website guy or gal...  My understanding is they are still working out bugs too.  I heard the PS-32 5V file actually doesn't support trolley yet.  Not enough flash memory.  Frankly, they might want to get the feed back from the PS-3/2 5V replacements before jumping into upgrade kits.  At least tech have the experience to know if an issue has arisen with the board/program.

There have been enough changes in the production PS-3 code to do a wait and see for me.   G

Have they even delivered S gauge product yet?  No sound files are even up for S gauge yet.  G

I actually want it to upgrade a very small O gauge loco.
