Notch 6 Podcast Interview with Angela Trotta Thomas, Lionel's Mike Phillips and LCCA's Al Kolis

During the last day of the Lionel Collectors Club of America's (LCCA) 44th Annual Convention held at the Marriott East Hotel in Indianapolis IN July 20-26  Derek Thomas of Notch6 podcast had an opportunity to talk with Lionel Licensed artist Angela Trotta Thomas, Lionel's Vice President, Brand Marketing and LCCA President-elect Al Kolis.

We wrap up this convention with Al Kolis talking about the newly announced merger of the LRRC with the LCCA and LCCA's Yearlong 45th Anniversary Celebration.  Angela Trotta Thomas talks about her original painting commissioned to celebrate LCCA's 45th Anniversary year and her new projects with Lionel,  Mike Phillips explains how Lionel is reaching out to the world outside of traditional model railroading to reintroduce the public to Lionel Trains.

I mispoke in my interview with Derek Thomas.  It was the "Queen City HiRailers Club (not Quad City) that brought their 50' X 50' pluses modular layout to the LCCA Convention in Indy. Sorry about that.  Here are some photos of the Queen City HiRailers Club's Layout at the Marriotte East Hotel in Indianapolis IN.
