We are currently visiting with family in Perth, Western Australia. Today in one of the shopping centers we went into a news store with a huge selection of magazines, and lo and behold they had OGR on the shelves. Do you normally get such far-reaching international orders Rich?

I've been to three hobby shops in the city so far, and all gave me the impression that O Gauge was pretty much dead over here. Each store displayed the same pattern of stocking all the small scales but then skipping the medium range and going straight to large scales. Interestingly though every store did stock DCS products, and now seeing OGR on the shelves tells me there's still at least some interest! I'm sure Dave Allen can chime in on the trends in Australia.

How's everyone handling the crazy heat? 115F? I am sure that you have heard, but we have had the "polar vortex" here causing crazy cold temps.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, Dave mentioned that O scale really draws a crowd at public displays. I think it is more lack of product for various reasons that you don't see O.

Actually, in Perth it's been unseasonably cool. Most days have been absolutely perfect with only a handful of scorchers. Yesterday we played 18 holes and barely broke a sweat. As for the winter vortex, our luck continues. Forecasts show it will disappear just in time for our return to New York

Forgot to mention, check out the price tag on that single issue. Nearly half the cost of a whole year's subscription!
