Has anyone put a O54 circle on a ping pong table. All of the good premier models need O54. A pic would help a lot.

I think ping pong tables are 60 inches by 108 inches. So sounds likely that will work.
Close to the the long ends, but it should fit!
O-54 should fit on a surface as small as 5x5. The won't be much room on the outside though.
The answer is yes. An O-54 oval fits on a ping pong table. If you want a layout that can be folded and moved, that can be a good, elbeit expensive, platform. You would want the type that folds with the playing surface to the outside. That will allow for higher scenery although you will need to move/store it carefully.
I purchased a ping pong table for under $100 and glued indoor/outdoor carpeting to the top. My layout has 054 circle.
It will work, but you will be very close to the edge of the table on the corners. For an inside track you could use 042 curves.
Just a small tip if you use Gargraves track, their track sizes are a bit over the regular Lionel tubular sizes, Gargraves might be 55 & a half to 56 inches wide.

I've seen some great "O" scale layouts started out on Ping pong tables, later expanded.
Just remember that you're close to the edge and NASTY THINGS CAN HAPPEN!
I wish you the best of luck.
