I am moving along with my layout, i have three main rails and then have an Atlas turntable
Question
does each siding off the turntable need to be connected to the legacy base?
Also, (think i know the answer here) does each of the main rails need to be connected to the legacy base?
Any advice will be appreciated

Legacy base should be connected to the common post of your transformer(s). After that connection is made you're by definition connecting Legacy signal anywhere you connect your hot/common to the track. This has to include stub sidings off your turntable otherwise how could locomotives move onto/off them?
Thanks Mike, i am planning on isolating each stall of the turntable as well as each of the three mains -- that way i can run both legacy and classic
