I have been working on plans for the extension (if you want to call it that), but in the mean time also working on some rolling stock and loco details and such.
This is #2 with the Banta Summer Cab. The porter is an 0-4-2 and came with no sound. I built the tender from a HO Gondola and added Tsunami TSU-750 light steam sound decoder and small rectangle speaker in a small enclosure. I added a coal fuel load.
Yes Yes Yes, I hate having wires stretch from the porter to the tender, but additional pick up in necessary much less the tender for the decent size speaker. I have yet to add a few minor details such as the plank between the porter and tender. The poter is connected via link and pin style bar (made frm an old siderod from a Davenport).
I have a boxcab that I completed but have yet to take decent pics of. That is also waiting on sound decoder. Pics to come for that.
