I have an older TMCC Big Boy that I would like to possibly run with a Cab-1 Controller. At the present, I'm using a DCS Remote (with TMCC Command Base), but I'm wondering if a Cab-1 would give me more features. If not, I'll just continue using DCS. It seems that none of the AUX commands are working off the DCS (I'm aware that there is a limited number of them). Any hints? Thanks.

All I can offer is that to the best of my knowledge, the DCS remote will allow access to all of the features of TMCC. if it does not, there is something wrong somewhere. If you have a CAB1, or can barrow one, I would recommend testing to make sure the number pad functions work in the engine. If they do, you'll probably need help from the DCS guys and that is best obtained on the DCS forum. if the cab1 does not operate the functions, you'll have to test your base and engine to see where the problem is.

Actually, there is one thing that you need a CAB1 for at least. There is no SET switch emulated on the DCS remote, a lack that I find puzzling at the very least. If you want to configure stuff like the ERR Mini Commander products, you'll need a CAB1.
