On3 - Need Sound Decoder HELP | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Well, I am finally getting my narrow gauge going on the layout.

My layout is O/On3. Power is NCE DCC with two 10 amp booster.

I need to install decoders in my On3 brass locomotive, would like to

go with sound. See my list below and offer suggestions.

1) Nevada County Narrow Gauge #1 a 4-4-0 Oil burner in the 1915 era

2) Nevada County Narrow Gauge #3 a 4-4-0 Oil burner in the 1915 era

3) Nevada County Narrow Gauge #5 a 2-6-0 Oil burner in the 1930 era

4) Nevada County Narrow Gauge #8 a 2-8-0 Oil burner in the 1937 era

5) Nevada County Narrow Guage #9 a 2-8-0 Oil burner in the 1940 era

I'd go with Soundtraxx decoders. Probly the TSU-1000 or TSU-750 depending on the size of the loco.
