I haven't ever seen one, but it's something I might be willing (and able) to try in On30 rather than On3 since I have all the necessary train items and track sections. I may even have some space for it in my bedroom. Thanks for the idea!
Found this...no exact On30 plans but I'd think it could be easily built with enough space between main rails to accomodate On30 with a few shorty straights between the switches.

I laid out a timesaver in On3 on a piece of plywood using paper templates of number five switches with three inch track spacing. I have not gone any farther with it but it looks like it could be fun.
