I have asked this question before and was not able to make it work. S, in DETAIL, for my apparently slow brain, how does one add a .jpg photo to ones forum signature? Where and how does one store the photo?

You can embed them in your post. Just click on 'Add attachment' lower right...select the photo from your device. EZ

Thanks for your quick reply. I am asking about including a photo in my signature uner the Update Your Profile heading. It apparently requires that I have my photo hosted somewhere and enter the url for the host location in the "Source" box that appears in the profile update section when updating my forum signature. If you can shed any light on that, I would appreciate it.

yes...a signature photo needs to be hosted on the net. This can be on Fotki, photobucket or even facebook. Get the photo url and insert it in your profile.

I use the “stuff I love” section in my profile to host the photo I use for my signature. Don’t need an account anywhere but here.

Where in the update your profile section can I find "Stuff I love"? What do I insert as the source in the embed image dialog box in the signature update section?

Will it work if you put your photo on dropbox the pull it (the link) from there?
I'm with Randy in his question. I managed to add a photo to the "Stuff I Love" section in my profile by clicking on the little "Manage Photo" link at the bottom, but when I tried to add that photo to my signature line, there seemed to be no way to choose that photo from "Stuff I Love." What's the secret?
By the way, the picture I added in Stuff I Love is the old Columbus, OH Union Station before demolition.

It’s in your profile page, not update profile page. At the bottom below your email address and other info. See the “manage pictures” option and select. A menu should appear and you navigate to the photo and upload it. Select submit and it should be in the stuff I love section of your profile. Select the picture and copy; then navigate to “update your profile” scroll to signature box, select the little photo icon and paste in the source. It will have copied the source code so when you paste in the box it will be the location code. Then you will probably have to resize smaller using the pixel number boxes. Start at 100x100 to see how you like the size and adjust from there. Select update profile and it should be done.

You’re welcome. Note: I do all my forum work on an Ipad, so using other operating systems might/will be different. So glad it worked out for you.
