Hey Rev what did you use for your street material in your layout? I like that look.

I use 1/8" Masonite for the streets. Here in Canada, we have a hardware store chain called "Home Hardware", and the carry a Spray can paint, called "Granite". It end up with a textured surface when it dries, so I sand it a bit to make it smoother before I apply the lane & parking lines, which is just the automotive pinstripe stuff. The sanding doesn't seem to hurt the colour, as a matter of fact, I think it looks a little more "roadlike" after it's sanded.
Here's another shot of the roads from a different angle. Glad you like the look, I struggled for quite a while before I ended up going this route.
